New Pavilion! You may have noticed that a new pavilion is being built at the CYS complex. This has been a major undertaking by the CYS Board, and we believe it will provide safety during inclement weather, needed shade during very hot days, and a place to socialize and relax at the complex.

The cost for this project is in excess of $16,000.00. Much of the labor and materials have been graciously donated, however we are still in need of an additional $3,000.00 to complete the construction. Since its start in 1987, CYS has done its best not to promote fundraisers, nor solicit funds other than registration fees and sponsorship fees. We are now in need of your assistance in raising this extra $3,000.00. We would appreciate any amount that you feel you can donate to help this cause. Feel free to stop any board member if you need more information. You can spot them by their yellow shirts.

The Concord Youth Soccer League allocates $1000.00 per year for one-time scholarships to graduating seniors who have made significant contributions to the league. These contributions are normally in the form of performing volunteer work for the league. The scholarships are normally given to two different graduating seniors in the amount of $500.00 apiece. To be eligible, graduating seniors must be accepted at a post-secondary educational institution and must submit a letter of application to the league. The letters should be received by the league no later than April 1 of the year of graduation and can be submitted to any board member. Please email us with any questions!

If you think you would enjoy getting more involved with the league, and ensuring that it continues to run far into the future, please consider becoming a CYS Board member. We are a fun group with which to be involved, the work is not too terribly taxing, and the work contributes to the enjoyment of a very important group of people - the young people of our community. Those of you with children in the younger age groups of our league can help make sure the league meets the needs of the young soccer community for many years to come. Join us!
